Professional Profile
Robert Klap has been an integral member of Architectural Concepts for over 15 years. As Principal & Senior Designer, his primary responsibility is programming, conceptual design and the development of design through documentation and construction. Mr. Klap's creative design sense has been combined with a unique knowledge of the bowling industry to provide the client with a strong understanding of what is needed and how to properly design facilities for today's changing business environment. Mr. Klap typically will serve as the Project Architect for a project, overseeing the production of the final documents, coordinating with engineering disciplines, designing and developing the varied details, verifying the budget and specifying products. Mr. Klap also is involved in Architectural Concepts' Quality Assurance Program, reviewing all work within the office for compliance with the owner's program, budget, design quality and industry concerns. The role continues as Mr. Klap examines the construction in progress with construction documents, checking compliance, making decisions necessary to deliver a project "on-time/within budget." Mr. Klap's diversity makes him a valuable asset to Architectural Concepts, as well as the client on his project team.
