DERBY BOWL was a 12-lane center built in the 1960's. The main design challenge was to more than double the size of the building, with the expansion including the addition of  12-lanes and incorporating an arcade and lounge. The remaining spaces were totally remodeled and reorganized, including the reception counter, snack bar and concourse. The architecture and plan both take on a contemporary feel, with   subtle curves directing the flow through the spaces and tying the facility together as a whole. exexterior1.JPG (31150 bytes)
